Happy New Year!
Happy 2017! Hope you have had a great Christmas and New Year. We have some great weekend and day camps coming up this year, all kicking off on January 21st.
The picture above is from our last camp in November, showing the children getting involved in one of Back2Basics, treasure hunts.
The last day camp of the year was on 26/11/2016. The children that came along spent there time playing games in the woods, cooking lunch and eating marshmallows around the fire. A good day was had by all with no need for tech! We are looking forward to all our day camps coming up this year, starting in January, where we're planning on doing all the above and more. New activities are on the itinerary, such as archery and lots of fun with the zip wire which was installed in the last few days. Watch this space!
Peter the Penguin was the popular prize we had on offer at the recent Norwood Park Christmas Experience. We would like to thank everyone who came along to see us and who took part in all of our festive activities, including guess how many sweets in the jar. Peter found his new home with Henry who won with a guess of 340 sweets. Back2Basics will be at the next Norwood Christmas Experience, which will be running for four days this coming December, so join us then for more festive fun from Thursday 30th November - Sunday 3rd December 2017.
Late last year, Back2Basics secured camps during the summer of this coming year with a school in Nottinghamshire. We will be making our way around other local schools in the next few months; if you think your child's school would be interested then let us know and we will be sure to try our best to come there too! We hope to see you soon at parents evenings this coming year and at any of our camps or events that you book places on.
